Day 1: Rio de Janeiro

Reception in Rio de Janeiro Airport, transfer to the hotel and lodging.

Day 2: Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast at the hotel.

After appreciating different architectural monuments and a visit to the Metropolitan Cathedral, we can venture ourselves to climb the twin Pao de Azucar using the cable car. In the first peak called “Urca”, one may walk by flowery paths and appreciate the magnificent scenario.

In the second peak named “Pão de Açúcar”, one can admire the beautiful views of the Guanabara Bay, the Santa Cruz Fort, and framework of the history of Rio. Surely, you will fill amazed with these impressive places.

Lunch included in a typical “carioca” restaurant.

To participate in the “carnival experience” is not only pure entertainment but also a study that will enrich many children and families in a cultural way. Come and experiment it with us. The highlight of the Carnival de Rio is the parade of the “escuelas de samba” in the “Sambodromo” (own stadium for the most expected parade of the year).

The world of the “escuelas de samba” of Rio has remained mysterious and hidden but now we open our doors to reveal the secrets behind it. We invite you to take a look to learn about the carnival while experimenting the magic of its arts and take a journey in time while you tour the history of a city that keeps the secrets of its singularity.

Day 3: Rio de Janeiro / Iguazu

Breakfast at the hotel.

One of the ways to reach the peak of the famous Corcovado is by train. A modern rack railway of Swiss origin climbs by the middle of the “Tijuca”rainforest, the world largest urban up to the top of Mount Corcovado (up to 710 meters high)).

The train takes around 17 minutes to climb at a maximum speed of 15 km per hour; while the return is made in 22 minutes because of a descending slower speed of 12 km/h. During the journey, one of the most impressive views we may appreciate is the “Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon”.

Reaching the top you will find the famous Cristo del Corcovado, sculpted in soapstone and decorated with Mosaics, in an art-nouveau style. The statue is 38 meters tall and was selected not long ago as one of the “7 wonders of the modern world”. With its open arms, the statue seems to be blessing the marvelous city.

The almost complete view of the city is breathtaking.

Day 4: Iguazu

Breakfast at the8 hotel.

Iguazu Waterfalls – Brasil zone (4h) “One of the 7 natural wonders of the world” Sculpted on rock, with its 275 jumps, the Iguazu Waterfalls are the mayor group of waterfalls in the world. Surrounded by lush subtropical rainforest, the visit to the park is made by foot, through walkways of approximately I kilometer long with lookouts and bridges.

You may access one of the walkways by elevator.

Wild animals, among them the friendly Coati, marvel and amuse the tourists. Countless birds and butterflies give the place a special color.

Day 5: Iguazu / Lima / Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel.

Iguazu Waterfalls-Argentina zone (6h)  “One of the 7 natural wonders of the world”

Located nearby, 24km from Iguazu Port.

The rides are made by a gas-powered train that departs the central station to Waterfalls station with stops needed to tour the rides of the Superior and Inferior circuits and after following to the Garganta Station for the walk of the Garganta del Diablo.

Superior Circuit: this ride of 1200 meters by safe and modern walkways, offering you a panoramic view of a group of jumps and of the small islands of the Iguazu River.

Inferior Circuit: offers you a more intimate experience with the landscape and full contact with nature, for it stretches through eight overlooks and a 1750-meter walk.

Garganta del Diablo: a new walkway of approximately 100 meters allows the visitor to enjoy of a unique landscape while arriving to the imposing Garganta del Diablo, the greatest jump of the waterfalls. During the ride, it is possible to observe the Rio Iguazu islands and all the vegetation that surrounds them. The grandiose Garganta del Diablo is a 150 meters long and 80 meters high jump that fascinates to whoever is watching it.

Day 6: Cusco / Sacred Valley

Reception at the Cusco airport and transfer to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel.

After breakfast we will go to the airport to take the flight to Cusco (Flight not included)

We will begin the tour at the Sacred Valley of the Incas, by visiting the handicraft fare of Pisac where one may appreciate the colorful local clothing and still alive ancient traditions.

Lunch included.

In the afternoon visit to the archeological complex of Ollantaytambo, where one will appreciate the technique with which the Incas carved the stone.

Dinner on your own.

Day 7: Sacred Valley / Aguas Calientes

After breakfast, we will visit Moray and the famous salt mines of Maras. We will also be able to visit the archeological site and town of Chinchero where we will learn the ancestral weaving techniques

Lunch included in Ayaska Restaurant.

At 16.00 h, we will go to the train station for the trip to Aguas Calientes in the Inca Rail Executive train, which departs at 1636 hrs.

Upon arrival transfer to the selected hotel where we will stay and have dinner.

Free time.

Day 8: Machu Picchu / Cusco

Early morning we will have breakfast and take the bus for a 25-minute ride that will take us to the Incas Sacred Citadel of Machu Picchu, considered to be one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Guided tour in private service by its corridors, visiting its ceremonial chambers and terraces.

Return to the town of Aguas Calientes. Lunch buffet included at the Tinkuy Restaurant.

At 1430 h, we will take the Inca Rail Executive train to Ollantaytambo, whose arrival is scheduled at 1556 h. From there we will travel to Cusco.

Around 18 h, arrival to selected hotel in Cusco and lodging.

Day 9: Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, we will visit the archeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, impressive fortress of monumental stones and excellent architecture. Puca Pucara, Qenqo, ritual ceremonial center that was an amphitheater where human sacrifices were performed, Tambomachay archeological site dedicated to the worship of the water .

Free time for lunch.

In the afternoon, we will start our city tour by foot with a brief stop in the Main Square (Plaza de Armas) visiting the Cathedral, main temple in Cusco which houses the diocese of the city.

We will continue with a visit to the magical city of Cusco, capital of the Incan Empire (XV Century) which includes the entrance and visit to the Santo Domingo Monastery, the legendary Temple of Korikancha. Free time for dinner and lodging in selected hotel in Cusco.

Day 10: Cusco / Lima

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the designated time transfer services to the airport (Flight not included) upon arrival assistance and transfer services.

In the afternoon, we will begin our visit to the city of Lima touring the Love Park in Miraflores; a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture. Also, , the financial district of San Isidro and the Plaza Mayor where the Government and Municipal Palaces are located, We will visit the Church and Convent of Saint Francis, which are part of Lima´s most notable colonial architectural complex.

Stands out the magnificent choir chairs, baroque and neoclassical altarpieces as well as important religious carvings. In its underground galleries, one will find the famous catacombs

Lunch and dinner on your own in a restaurant of your choice.  Lodging in selected hotel in Lima.

Day 11: Lima

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the designated time transfer to the airport in Cusco where we will finish our services.
