10:00 hrs. Arrival on the Island of Taquile in the community of Huayllano, in the South of the Island, where there are very few tourists,
We enter trails with agricultural land, with surprising landscapes between the colors of the costumes, the immense lake and as a background the snow-capped mountains of the Illimani mountain range. There is a historical meeting with living cultures, presentation of handicrafts, visit to places of tourist interest. Taquile has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for the textiles they present, with iconographies that represent their customs, calendars, etc. The color of their clothes and their landscapes is spectacular. They carry out artistic, handicraft, agricultural activities, photo sessions, etc. where tourists are involved.
12:00 hrs. We share lunch with typical Taquile music and dances.
13:00 Hrs. We leave for Luquina.
14:30 Hrs. We arrive in Luquina on the Chucuito peninsula on the Aymara side of the Lake, a place rarely visited by tourists, we are welcomed by community members who through the centuries preserve their Aymara language as well as their clothing, customs, idiosyncrasies that they show us. In a presentation of their culture, they invite us to their homes to see the way of life they currently have, they present their culture, their agricultural instruments, festive and daily clothing, mystical inputs for rituals.
15:30 Hrs. They invite us to ascend to the natural viewpoint of the place the highest mountain that also acts as a center of ceremonies and rituals to the earth that allows us to see the immensity of Titicaca and enjoy the fascinating sunset, at night dinner is shared with our hosts.
19:30 Hrs. We share dinner with the host family.
