Day 1: Lima

Arrival to the city of Lima, assistance and private transfer to hotel services (Flight not included)

Day 2: Lima

Breakfast at the hotel

In the morning, we will take a walk by the city’s main streets, squares and streets. We will start by the Love Park in Miraflores with a espectacular sight of the Pacific Ocean. After, we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana, ceremonial center of the Lima culture.

We will continue by the Plaza Mayor where we will find the Presidential Palace and the Town hall Palace. We will visit the Cathedral and walk towards the Santo Domingo Convent whose corridors were transittored by San Martín de Porras and Santa Rosa of Lima in the XVII century and where their remains currently rest.

Day 3: Lima / Arequipa

Breakfast at the hotel.

(AM) Prívate transfer to the airport for our departure to Arequipa (Flight not included). Upon arrival assistance and private transfer to the hotel. Rest of the morning free in for acclimatization purposes. .

14:00 hrs The White City opens its doors in a walk that begins at the beautiful colonial neighborhood of San Lázaro, founding place  of Arequipa; from there we will walk through picturesque roads embellished by geraniums and after we will head towards El Carmen Alto  viewpoint  which offer us a nice landscape of Andean agricultural terraces and from where we may observe the three tutelary volcanoes that surround the city: Misti, Chachani and Pichu-Picchu. We will continue towards the colonial district of Yanahuara, famous for its church constructed in an Andalucean style and its viewpoint, raised in a beautiful architecture and surrounded by ashlar arches.

Afterwards, we will visit the Santa Catalina Monastery, impressive religious monument that remained closed for over 400 years; with narrow streets, squares and gardens that remind us of the old neighborhoods of Seville and Grenada.

Moving on we will  proceed to the Plaza de Armas where we will observe The Cathedral and the arches that surround the plaza, to finally visit the Church of The  Compañía de Jesus; founded in the XVII century by the Jesuits, highlights are its cloister and the famous dome of  San Ignacio.

Day 4: Arequipa / Colca

Breakfast at the hotel hotel.

08:00 – 08:30 hrs Pick-up at hotel, meeting place at the lobby.

160 kms. Tour.  3 hours approximately.

We will depart to the spectacular Colca Valley. We will climb the foothills of the Chachani volcano; a view of the Misti volcano and of the Picchu Picchu are just spectacular.

We will cross the vicuña reserve of Pampa Cañahuas, where we will appreciate them running freely, wandering at will the Andean high grounds.

Unique typical towns will come to our encounter. We will have lunch along the way to our lodge. We will have a free afternoon to rest and to enjoy our lodge or to visit optionally the thermal baths of the area.

Day 5: Colca / Arequipa (Half Board)

Breakfast at the hotel. Meeting place at the lobby.

Very early in the morning we will proceed to the Cruz del Condor viewpoint. We will be wait with expectation the breathtaking flight of the condors, huge Andean birds facing extinction, symbol of the Andes mountain range.

The view will permit us to appreciate the full extent of the canyon considered one of the deepest in the world. We will visit the towns of Maca and Yanque, which still preserve their colonial churches. After lunch we will begin our journey back to the city of Arequipa.

Day 6: Arequipa / Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Cusco. (Flight not included). Upon arrival assistance and transfer services to the hotel.

In the afternoon, we will move away from the crowds to visit Sacsayhuamán, an impressive citadel filled with colossal constructions surrounded by beautiful landscapes, in total communion with the background. We will continue towards the Inca shrine of Quenqo, surprising altar for sacrifices embedded in the inner part of the rock formation.

Finally, we will arrive to the watchtower of Puca Pucará and Tambomachay, monument of remarkable architectural excellence, one of the cornerstones of the Andean cosmovision. We will continue towards the Plaza de Armas where we will visit the Cathedral and the Koricancha.

Day 7: Cusco / Sacred Valley (Half Board)

Breakfast at the  hotel.

In the morning, we will visit the Incan Sacred Valley that will receive us that day.

We will visit Awanacancha, tourist complex where we will know about and feed Andean camelidos such as llamas y alpacas. Besides, local dwellers will show us their hand-woven and hand-dry techniques of traditional textiles.  We will continue towards Pisac Inca and Colonial.

Discover one of the more beautiful architectural sites in the Sacred Valley, on top of the mountain, that dominates the colonial town of Pisac.

Foot walk through the colonial town. Time for shopping in the artisan market.

Lunch included in a tourist restaurant. In the afternoon visit to the archeological complex of

Ollantaytambo, where you may appreciate the technique with which the Incas work the stone.

Day 8: Sacred Valley / Mapi / Cusco (Half Board)

Breakfast at the hotel.

We will depart by train to Ollantaytambo station.

We will arrive to the Aguas Calientes station where our staff will assist you.

We will board the transportation that will ascend a winding road treating us with a spectacular view of the Urubamba River, which shapes its famous canyon.

The lost citadel of the Incas, Machu Picchu will receive us with their incredible terraces, stairways, ceremonial venues and urban areas. The energy that emanates in the entire site, considered one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Return to the town of Aguas Calientes. Lunch included.

Return by train towards Ollantaytambo.

Arrival to Ollantaytambo station and subsequently private transfer to Cusco.

Day 9: Cusco / Lima

Breakfast t the hotel.

At designated time assistance and transfer services to the airport to take your flight back to Lima and subsequently your international connecting flight. (Flights not included).
