Day 1: Lima

International flight departure t to Peru. Upon arrival to Lima assistance services and transfer to the hotel.

Lodging in selected hotel in Lima.

Day 2: Lima

Breakfast at the hotel.

Experiences: Millenial – Actual

We will enjoy an excursion to colonial and modern Lima, visiting its main attractions. It includes a panoramic view of colonial churches such as the Cathedral, The Saint Francis Convent, the Presidential Palace and The Plaza Mayor.

We will visit the Church and Convent of Saint Francis, which are part of Lima´s most notable colonial architectural complex. Stands out the magnificent choir chairs, baroque and neoclassical altarpieces as well as important religious carvings. In its underground galleries, one will find the famous catacombs.

The tour will continue with the modern city visiting the Huaca Pucllana in San Isidro. We will continue towards Miraflores along the Pacific Ocean, a panoramic visit to the bohemian neighborhood of Barranco Lunch in the elegant restaurant “La Rosa Náutica”.

In the afternoon, visit to the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art and Archeology of Peru “Rafael Larco Herrera”.

Return to the hotel.

Day 3: Lima / Arequipa

Breakfast at the hotel .Hotel pick-up and transfer to the Airport.  (Flight to Arequipa not included)

Upon arrival assistance and transfer services to the hotel.

Experiences: Millenary – Actual

In the afternoon, visit to the White city and the Santa Catalina Monastery, impressive religious monument which houses inside it narrow roads, plazas, gardens. It remind us of the old quarters of Seville and the Arms Square with the Cathedral and arches surrounding the Plaza.

Day 4: Arequipa / Colca (Half Board)

Breakfast in the hotel. Pick-up at the hotel and departure towards the Colca Valley.

Experiences: Nature – Life culture

Climbing the foothills of the Chachani volcano; the sight of the Misti Volcano and the Picchu Picchu. During the tour, many stops will take place for photo shooting of the incredible landscapes.

Lunch and return to the hotel. Free afternoon.

Day 5: Colca / Puno (Half Board)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Experiences: Nature – Life culture

Very early in the morning departure towards the Cruz del Condor viewpoint from where one may observe the flight of the condors, enormous Andean birds facing extinction. One may observe the height of the canyon, considered the world deepest.

Departure towards Puno with a snack lunch. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel.

Day 6: Puno (Half Board)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Experiences: Nature – Life culture

We will begin the Titicaca Lake excursion by embarking in a motorboat to visit the floating islands of the Uros community made out of a straw called “totora.

We will continue cruising until we reach the Taquile Island where we will initiate a hike uphill climb in which you may share ancestral traditions with the community dwellers, visits to some of their houses and we will enjoy a lunch in the middle of the Titicaca Lake. Later, we will return to the city of Puno and transfer to the hotel. .

Day 7: Puno / Cuso (Half Board)

Breakfast at the hotel. Pick-up and transfer to the train station.

Experiences: Nature – Fascinating

Enjoy the mysticism that the beautiful Andean landscape has to offer on board a luxurious train. To travel in the Andean Explorer is a unique experience, a ten hour ride in which you may appreciate the changing landscapes between mountains, undulating plains and the region different climates. Includes a Andean fusion lunch, tea in the afternoon on board entertainment fashion show of typical clothing.

The Andean Explorer surrounds you in an exquisitely decorated environment in the subtle and delicate style of the great Pullman trains of the nineteen twenties. Upon arrival to Cusco transfer to the hotel.

Day 8: Cusco / Sacred Valley (Half Board)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Experiences: Millenary – Nature

Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit to the artisan fair of Pisac where the local colorful garments and the ancient still living traditions may be appreciated. Lunch. In the afternoon visit to the Archaeological site of Ollantaytambo, where one may appreciate the technique with which the Incas worked the stone. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 9: Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu / Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel.

Experience: Millenary – Fascinating

Departure in the Expedition train towards the town of Aguas Calientes, where we will take a bus (25-minute ride) that will take you to the Incas Sacred Citadel of “Machu Picchu”, considered one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Private guided tour service through its corridors visiting its ceremonial enclosures and terraces.

Return to the town of Aguas Calientes.

In the afternoon departure by train towards Cusco’s train station. Upon arrival pick-up and transfer to the hotel.

Day 10: Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel.

Experience: Millenary – Nature

In the afternoon visit to the magical city of Cusco, capital of the Incan Empire (XV century) which includes the visit and entrance to the Santo Domingo Monastery, the legendary Koricancha Temple.

Continuing to the city’s outskirts in order to visit the archeological Inca remains of Sacsayhuamán, impressive fortress made out of monumental stones and excellent architecture, Qenqo, ceremonial and ritual center that was the amphitheater where sacrifices were performed and Tambomachay, archeological site that served as a water shrine.

Return to Cusco and a brief stop in the Plaza de Armas and visit to the Cathedral, main temple of the city of Cusco, seat of the city’s diocese.

Return to the hotel.

Day 11: Cusco / Lima / Iquitos (Full Board)

Breakfast at the hotel.

At the designated time pick-up from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. (Flight to Lima not included) Upon arrival connecting flight towards Iquitos (Connecting flight not included) Upon arrival assistance and transfer services to the city’s port to embark in boats towards the lodge We will navigate the Amazon River, one of the New Seven  Natural Wonders of the World. During the journey, we will visit a native community.

Arrival to the lodge and lunch. In the afternoon a hike by the jungle. Supper and night walk.

Day 12: Iquitos (Full Board)

Excursion for bird watching and aquatic plants Victoria Regia. Tour in the surroundings of Yanamono where we will see the preparation of spirits and cane rum.

The afternoon will be dedicated to fishing giant piranhas and other varieties of fish in the gorges or “cochas” of the Amazon River where luck permitting we will observe “pink dolphins”. Lodging at the lodge.

Day 13: Iquitos / Lima (Half Board)

Breakfast and lunch at our lodge. At the designated time transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Lima and later the connecting flight back to your country of origin. (Flight not included).
