Day 1: Lima

06:20 a.m. Arrival to the international Lima airport in flight LA2801. Assistance service and transfer to the hotel.

Early check-in will be coordinated and confirmed upon availability.

Our tour will take you through Lima:  Colonial

Lima, known as The City of Kings, was founded in 1535 by Francisco Pizarro and became the capital of the Spanish Viceroyalty during the 16th Century. The tour includes the visits to the most interesting sites of Lima Downtown, The Main Square, Government Palace, The Cathedral, where  the rest of Francisco Pizarro remains, the Desamparados Train Station, The Santo Domingo Churches and Santa Inquisicion Museum

Transfer to Huaca Pucllana restaurant.

In the afternoon, we will visit the “MNAAHP – Peruvian National Museum of Archaeology, Anthropology and History” It is located in Pueblo Libre and it houses collections of ceramics, metalwork and textiles from pre-Columbian cultures, thus items from the colonial and republican periods. This cultural complex is also the Liberators of Peru country house: XVIII century mansion where Don Jose San Martin and Simon Bolivar lived.

Transfer to Club Nacional.

Day 2: Lima / Cusco / Sacred Valley

Breakfast at the hotel.

07:00 a.m. Pick up service, assistance and transfer to the airport.

We take flight LA 2075 which leaves at 09:40am

11:00 a.m. Arrival to Cusco. Assistance service and transfer to Sacred Valley.

Experience: Millenary – Nature

In the afternoon, we visit the small town of Chincheros. It emphasizes the church built during the years of the Cologne, in which you can see beautiful paintings of the Cuzco school. In the area there are important remains archaeological and terraces. Then, we enjoy the circular terraces of Moray.

Circular impressive system platforms. It is believed that the site was an important center for experimentation land which, through the use of concentric terraces and the different temperatures of each level, you have reproduced all ecological zones covering the Tahuantinsuyo.

We continue the journey to the town of Maras. His church and houses still retain the shields of indigenous nobility in their covers. Continue to visit the Church of Tiobamba. From there you can visit the salt mines of Maras and , whose exploitation precedes the Inca culture.

The view of approximately three thousand wells is spectacular.  If the weather is fine and the group is up for it, they could walk their way down to the Sacred Valley, where the Bus will be waiting for them to take them to the hotel. Otherwise, the bus could take them to the hotel directly.

Lunch at “Parador de Moray”.

Enjoy an exquisite lunch close to the Moray: you can try local products.

Day 3: Sacred Valley

Breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 hrs. Tour with head of gardener, an expert on indigenous botany. Learn about the flora and fauna that make this space so unique.

Experience: Adventure – Millenary

Our guides will be waiting the passenger’s arrival with all the equipment ready at our river put in location in Pachar, Sacred Valley of the Incas. Here passengers will receive rafting equipment and a safety briefing (toilet facilities and changing rooms available).

After a brief practice on the flat parts of the river, we will start our journey on easy waters while admiring the spectacular views of the mountains and archaeological remains. Because of the rafting activity, there won’t be enough time to visit Pisaq Arqueological site.

In case you want to visit, It is only possible fast. Afterwards we will continue towards Ollantaytambo and its amazing Inca terraces. At that time we will experience class 2-3 rapids, to finish with “El Resbaladero” (The Slide), a strong class 3 rapid that includes waves and small whirlpools.

We will then reach our river take out located in the community of Cachiccata (Toilets and changing rooms available) just 10 minutes by car from Ollantaytambo.

We continue our trip discovering the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Lunch at Wayra restaurant,not included.

Transfer back to the hotel.

Day 4: Sacred Valley / Aguas Calientes

Service for 01 pax

Pick up service, assistance and transfer/escort to train station. We will take the train from Sacred Valley and get to Aguas Calientes town. Upon arrival, we take the small bus that takes us to the entrance of Machu Picchu – MAPI considered as one of the “New 7 Wonders of the World”.

Its beauty is almost indescribable. The monumental and at the same time very fine architecture temples and sacred precincts perplex any explorer.

Pick up service, assistance and transfer/escort to train station at km 104. We will take the train from Sacred Valley and get to km 104 to star the full day Inka Trail. After around 6 hours trek, we get to the entrance of Machu Picchu – MAPI considered as one of the “New 7 Wonders of the World”.

Its beauty is almost indescribable. The monumental and at the same time very fine architecture temples and sacred precincts perplex any explorer.

After the tour, we can taste dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Day 5: Agua Calientes / Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel.

Experience: Adventure – Millenary

Second entrance to Machu Picchu in order to climb the Huayna Picchu Mountain. The eternal guardian of the Sanctuary, Huayna Picchu (“Young Mountain ” in Quechua) towers over the Inca citadel. Climb to the summit is another unforgettable experience. On the way and the top and admirable appreciate sacred precincts terraces built over the precipice.

Transfer back by bus to Aguas Calientes town and take the train for the journey back to Cusco city. Upon arrival, assistance service and transfer to hotel.

Lunch included in Sanctuary Lodge Tinkuy Restaurant.

Overnight at Belmond Monasterio.

Day 6: Cusco

Breakfast at the hotel.

Experience: Millenary

Visit to the city of Cusco, its main square where we will discover the Cathedral and the Company church of Santo Domingo along with beautiful Koricancha site. Then we visit the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, testimony to the architectural skills of the Incas. Thus, the nearby archaeological sites of Qenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay.

Lunch buffet included in Sanctuary Lodge, Tinkuy Restaurant.

Overnight at Belmond Monasterio.

Day 7: Cusco / Lima

Breakfast at the hotel.

08:00 a.m. Pick up service, assistance and transfer to the airport.

We take flight LA 2022 which leaves at 10:10am

11:35am Arrival to Lima, assistance service and transfer to hotel.

Day 8: Lima

Breakfast at the hotel.

13.00 hrs Lunch at Casa de Aliaga.

The “Casa de Aliaga” is the oldest Colonial mansion in Lima, maybe even in whole South America. The house has been owned and lived in by the Aliaga family and their descendants since Francisco Pizarro granted the land to Jerónimo de Aliaga in 1535. Originally there was a pre-Colombian altar on that plot of land owned by “Curaca Tauli Chusco” (the reign of the Rimac valley).

Day 9: Lima
