In the morning, we head towards Kuélap. The walls and hundreds of round houses are covered by the cloud forest at 3000 meters above sea level, always surprising visitors who look at it for the first time.
We will explore many ceremonial constructions and aqueducts. Although Kuélap was discovered 60 years before Machu Picchu, it is not so recognized worldwide.
However, recent discoveries in nearby areas related to Kuélap and its history have captured the attention of archaeologists, international magazines and film companies.
