Overnight in The Uros Floating Islands Community 2D / 1N

08:00 Hrs. We leave the hotel in the direction of the Port of Puno.

08:20 Hrs. We take a boat to go to the floating islands of the Uros.

09:00 Hrs. We arrived at the Islands and took our floating rooms made entirely of reeds including the bed.

We have a demonstration of daily living in the community, how islands are built, why they should live on floating islands, harvesting systems, fishing, bartering, education for children and youth, ancestral customs, as they are called “men of black blood ”, its origins three thousand years ago as the oldest people of Collao and Titicaca.

12:30 Hrs. Lunch is shared with the inhabitants of the island.

14:30 Hrs. We set out on a reed raft to explore the reed beds of the Titicaca National Reserve, to find bird nests and collect eggs, cut reeds, watch birds and fish in their natural habitat, lay out fishing nets and wait for the sunset. in the immensity of Titicaca.

19:30 Hrs. Dinner is shared with the locals.

06:00 Hrs. You go out in reed rafts to collect the fish from the nets that were laid the day before.

08:00 Hrs. Breakfast with the sins collected from fishing.

09:00 Hrs. We go out on a reed raft to visit the relatives of the community members who host us, visiting about 4 different islands, we buy reed handicrafts and unique rugs in the middle.

12:30 Hrs. We return to the Port of Puno in motor boats.

13:00 Hrs. We arrive at the Port of Puno and transfer the tourists to their respective hotels.
