Day 1: Lima

Arrival to Lima, assistance and transfer to the Country Club Hotel, one of the most emblematic hotels in Lima, a beautiful house built in early 1925 in the most exclusive residential district or in B, a boutique hotel in the old district of Barranco.

Day 2: Lima City of King, Colonial + Modern and Barranco

Breakfast.

In the morning tour through the colonial city of Lima.  You will visit the Plaza Mayor, the Government palace and the Cathedral of Lima., the Convent of Saint Francis and a panoramic view of Torre Tagle Palace. Your visit will continue through modern Lima towards the districts of San Isidro and Miraflores.

Visit to the Casa Aliaga, ancient house of the XIX century, where their owners will be your hosts.  It is recommended to have lunch in the Astrid and Gaston Restaurant, La Gloria or Cala (for groups of 10 or lunch can be programmed in the Casa Aliaga).

In the afternoon, visit to the Private Museum of Enrico Polli, a collection of pre-Hispanic and Colonial art. (If open)

At night, it is recommended to dine in the Central or Rafael restaurants.

Lodging.

Day 3: Lima / Cusco

Breakfast.

Morning transfer to the Airport to take the regular flight to Cusco.  Reception and transfer to La Casona de Inkaterra Hotel, a beautiful colonial Hotel belonging to the Relais & Chateau chain or Hotel Belmond Palacio de Las Nazarenas, built in a colonial convent, which will make you revive past ages.

Free afternoon to be acclimatized to the high altitude and to enjoy the hotel.

It is recommended to have a light supper.

It is recommended to dine in the MAP Restaurant located inside a colonial house that houses the Museum of Pre-Columbian Art.

Lodging.

Day 4: City Tour and Nearby Ruins

Brekfast.

At your convenience either in the morning or in the afternoon visit to the Emperial City of Cusco, its main Square, the Cathedral and the Museum of Religious Art. You will visit the Korikancha, the nearby ruins of Q’enco,

Tambomachay, the Sacsayhuaman Fortress (this excursión takes three hours, ample time to enjoy the city.

Return to the hotel.

For lunch, it is recommended the Chicha or Limo restaurants.

In the afternoon visit to the Archiepiscopal Palace, an ancient Colonial Palace and later on explore the San Blas quarter with its shops, and galleries of famous artisans.

It is recommended to dine in The Cicciolina restaurant.

Lodging.

Day 5: Cusco / Chincheros, Moray, Ollantaytambo Ruins / Sacred Valley

Breakfast

Excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will visit the town of Chincheros where its craftmen will give you a demostration of spinning, dye and knitting of alpaca wool.

We will continue towards Moray, an ancient Inca population to visit the circular shaped terraces that are an enigma about what they served for. We will have lunch in the ISKAY MARAS HOME, enjoying of a beautiful site of the Andes.

We will continue in the afternoon with a visit to Ollantaytambo: a temple fortress representing Inca architecture refinement. Transfer to the hotel. Lodging in the Sacred ValleyTambo del Inka Luxury Collection or in Belmond Rio Sagrado Hotel.

Day 6: Sacred Valley / Machu Picchu: Lost City of The Incas / Cusco

Breakfast.

At a convenient time transfer from the hotel to the Ollantaytambo train station for departure to

Aguas Calientes in the Hiram Bingham luxury train where a brunch will be served. Upon arrival transfer in private buses to the Lost City of Macchu Picchu, Arrival and registration in the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge hotel.

After we will enter the citadel vising its temples, the Intihuatana the Torreón, the temple of the moon and the terraces of Machu Picchu. Return at will to the hotel to have an English tea to be able to continue exploring the citadel. Meals are included in the Sanctuary Lodge or Inkaterra Pueblo hotels with “a la carte” menus.

Lodging.

Day 7: Machu Picchu / Cusco

Breakfast.

Free morning that could be used to revisit the citadel, lunch a la carte included.

Descent to Aguas Calientes to board the Hiram Bingham train, gourmet dinner on board,

Arrival to the Poroy station and bus transfer to your Cusco hotel, arriving approximately at 2200 hrs.

Day 8: Cusco / Lima

Breakfast and transfer to the airport to take your flight back to Lima.
