Day 1: Arequipa

Upon arrival assistance and transfer services to the hotel.

In the afternoon, visit to the White city and the Santa Catalina Monastery, impressive religious monument which houses inside it narrow roads, plazas, gardens. It remind us of the old quarters of Seville and the Arms Square with the Cathedral and arches surrounding the Plaza.

Day 2: Arequipa / Colca

Experiences: Nature-Life culture 

Departure from Arequipa via Yura, passing by the Chachani skirts, Prairie of Arrieros, Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve where we can see the slender vicuña, we continue through Vizcachani, Pampas de Toccra where we observe a variety of birds, then we will go along the crater of Chucura To reach Patapampa (4,800 masl) and Mirador de los Andes where you can see the volcanoes that surround the city of Arequipa.

Descend to the village of Chivay for lunch (not included).

Day 3: Colca / Arequipa

Breakfast at the hotel.

Experiences: Nature.

Early in the morning we go to the Cruz del Cóndor, from where you can see the legendary condor, the largest bird in the world, in imposing flight over the mountainous landscape.

Lunch in Chivay.

Transfer back to the city of Arequipa.

Accommodation at the hotel.

Day 4: Arequipa

Breakfast at the hotel.

At appropriate time, pick up and transfer service to the airport or bus station.

Visit of The Juanita Mummy Museum

The remains of “Juanita”, the Beautiful Girl of the Volcano Ampato, are exhibited in the museum “The  Andes Sanctuaries”. The visit of this museum, where other mummies are also found, is approximately an hour and can be added to any city tours.

Salinas Lagoon

Salinas Lagoon Excursion (The Peruvian Uyuni)

These lagoons are located behind the snowy Pichu Pichu, 120 km from Arequipa. In addition to its natural beauty, not only for the sector itself, there is a great show, that of the snowy peaks that are reflected in the mirror of its waters.

Also noteworthy are the presence of flamingos and pariguanas unique in their genus, where it is possible to see three species of pariguanas simultaneously, which is not the case in the most famous Flamingo Lakes in Africa (Nakuru and Naivaska, Kenya) where there are only two species. In this zone there are numerous populations of auquénidos especially llamas and alpacas.

NOTE.- We recommend not to offer the service in rainy season, from December to March.

Yura And Sillar Quarries Circuit

Visit to the quarries where the famous Sillar is extracted with which the houses are built from colonial times. Following the road you will reach the village La Estación, where the Yura Cement Factory is located. We will enter the Yura Valley, the same one that is located in a small canyon that forms with the trajectory of the river Yura. In this small spa there are the Wells with Thermo medicinal waters where we can enjoy a pleasant bath, after lunch, we will know the town of Yura, Main Square its Church and old constructions in pink sillar.

Return to the city.
